Xindice compatibility question(s)

Background:

 

We have been using Xindice in a production environment since 1.1b[n]. An early adopter in August of 2002.

We are reving our Java technologies.

 

Compatibility and testing.

 

Obeservations and questions:

 

1. I cannot find a Xindice POM.
2. I do not see mention of Java 5 or Java 6. Is anyone using Xindice with the newer tech set?
3. I do not see mention of Xerces or Xalan compatibility, with regards to newer versions. I can see that it is released with 2.5.2 xalan, 2.6 xerces and 1.2.01 xml-commons. Does it work with Xalan 2.7 and Xerces 2.7.1?
