Well, you are describing jar release. It does not has bat|sh script (yet), but everything else is in there.
btw, WAR release also has all this stuff.


The release could be a zip file with
a pre defined directory structure using the well known /bin, /lib and /cfg
directory names.

As I see it, this could be acomplished rather easily by just extending the
build file (which I'd happily do).

Any thoughts, comments?
