XML Schema validation

Can Chiba validate against an XML Schema? Eg, if I have the following on my XForms,

 

  <xforms:model  schema="abc.xsd">

 

can Chiba use the xsd for validation during its validation step?

 

Also, can I specify a URL to the schema such as

 

  <xforms:model  schema="http://hostname/abc.xsd">
