passing foreign attributes straight through: msg#00017

Subject: passing foreign attributes straight through
I'm trying to figure out how to pass foreign attributes to the output.

Eg, <xforms:input ...... maxlength="10"> will be translated to

<input ..... maxlength="10"> in HTML.

This allows me to give the XForms writers some control over the output. The spec says XForms supports foreign attributes but Chiba doesn't seem to pass them through. How should I go about doing this?

I know this can probably be done by modifying the XSL. But since I don't know much about XSL, I'd appreciate if someone can give me some pointers on how to do it.
