file:// reference to Schema not working: msg#00039

Subject: file:// reference to Schema not working 
Hello all,

I've got the following in my XForms:
   <xforms:model id="slots" schema="c:/MTF/moi.xsd">
     <xforms:instance id="importFile" src="file://c:/MTF/input.xml"/>
The importFile reference works fine, but shouldn't the schema reference also have "file://" in front of it? Doing so breaks the XForms. Using version 0.9.9.
