Hi Joern
I have managed to get Chicoon up an running, but had some trouble I
would like to mention ...
I followed the instruction in doc/howto/howto-install.txt
And after building and (setting the 'cocoon.dir' in the
'build.properties' file) I did ant prepare-cocoon.
This backed up some original libs in common/endorsed, but failed on last
move:
BUILD FAILED
C:\Temp\chicoon\build.xml:214: Warning: Could not find file C:\Program
Files\Apache Software Foundat
ion\Tomcat 5.0\webapps\cocoon\WEB-INF\lib\commons-jxpath-20030909.jar to
copy.
Looking into the build file I see that the file commons-jxpath-1.2.jar
is copied to cocoon during deploy target and deleted in the
restore-cocoon target.
Cocoon came with commons-jxpath-1.2.jar
After running restore-cocoon I now have a cocoon without
commons-jxpath-1.2.jar :-(

Hi *,
Chicoon is finally out. It's adapted to latest Chiba 0.9.9 and the
samples will be familiar to you ;)
Chicoon now also features easy form-chaining. You may submit
instance-data for usage by another form. The step-1/step-2 sample
shows how this works.
the integration might still look clunky to a cocoon wizard - i'm open
for suggestions here (still being a cocoon newbie).
Chicoon is now only released as source package and must be build and
deployed into an existing cocoon installation.
i used jdk1.4.2, cocoon 2.1.6 and a tomcat (4.1.30) installation for
development. if anything goes wrong with your system let me know
