poll: what connectors are you using?

sorry to disturb you again.

another interesting aspect i like to know about is the types of 
connectors you might be using in your projects (especially non-standard 
ones). which backend systems are you interfacing (db, ldap, ...?) or 
what protocol do you miss most?
next time i'll prepare a nice form for such stuff - really ;)
