Hi all
Currently, I am using a switch construct to have various parts of my UI
show, depending on the values of other items.
Eg, I have a select1, with 2 items, 0 or 1. If the value 1 is selected,
I use an action (a child of the item) to toggle a case to "enabled"
I have a switch, which when the case is enabled, displays extra parts of
my UI.
My problem with this is that I am not getting the initial display of my
UI correct. The extra UI section always shows on initial display if is
is first in the switch construct, without consulting the value of the
select1. How can I force the switch to get the correct value on initial
display?
Alternatively, I can use the 'relevant' attribute on my bind.
However I have 2 issues with this:
1. Can you attach a 'xforms:bind' to a group for the entire group and
elements within it to be hidden when the 'relevant' is false? My tests
are not working for this.
2. I would want the instance data associated with the hidden elements to
be submitted even if the 'relevant' section is false. Can this be done?
Thanks for the help
