the relevant attribute on bind was meant.
<bind id="someElement" relevant="if-someOther-is-valid" nodeset="..."/>
this way you can switch the relevance dependent on some other element
and indirectly if its validated or not.
it looks a bit like that you're maybe doing easier by switching your UI
not with switch but with relevant. - its has been mentioned this way
repeatadly on the xforms list: if you want to statically switch the UI
use a switch; if you want to switch the UI dependent on some data use
the relevant attributes.
cause relevance is inherited you may apply one condition for a group of
data and don't need to define it for every single element/control.
