vcard demo to Japanese

Hi All,

I am trying to convert the vcard demo to Japanese. Labels I have
converted and are showing properly. After inputting text in the name
field of the Contact tab, switching to a different tab, and then
returning to the Contact tab, the input becomes garbled. The posted
results(degug-instance.jsp) shows the unicode instead of Japanese
characters(it is neccessary that post results show Japanese characters
and not unicode).

I have worked with Japanese character sets in HTML & XML and I guess
there are some(many?) places that may need to changed in the
demo(including fonts, I'm afraid).

I am rather new to chiba and am wondering where I have to change in
order to make these changes effective. I have been changing various
xls and jsps, but haven't been able to get anywhere.

I really appreciate any guidance you can give me.
