Hi folks,
I've spent a bit of time this morning bring the liveTopics XFML
generator up to date. In particular liveTopics now supports 'topic
types' which are very roughly analogous to XFML facets and, in the map,
are treated as such. For example my map now has the facets:
auto_DOP Date of publication
auto_LINK Linked to
generic Default facet
person People topics go here
project
place
time Other time related topics (currently unused)
auto_DOP contains topics that are automatically generated for the date
of posting of each weblog item, e.g.
2003
april_2003
23_april_2003
Each post/page is associated with a topic corresponding to it's date of
publication.
auto_LINK contains topics related to outgoing links, e.g.
http://www.xfml.org/
http://www.xfml.org/software.html
Each post/page is associated with topic(s) corresponding to it's
outgoing links.
Then posts/pages are associated with regular liveTopics topics in each
of the user defined facets.
My current map[1] is about 800K and looks fine in XML Spy 5, however
when I tried to load it into facetmap.com to browse it I ran into
trouble. It takes facetmap a goodly long time to grok the map before
spitting out the error so I'm hoping someone here can help me track it
down.
The error is:
There was a problem with the data in your file: Error adding the
resource "Ralph Waldo Emerson. (07/05/2002; 18:48:58)": "link_
144e0f09a678209c8aae8ecd97041f42" is not a recognized heading name in
facet "auto_LINK".
However a topic "link_144e0f09a678209c8aae8ecd97041f42" is defined in
the facet 'auto_LINK' on line 1498.
I'd really appreciate any help I can get in sorting out the problem.
Many thanks in advance,
Matt
