Yes, with "ambiguous mime-types" such as text/plain - it does, however
image/svg+xml is not one of these, you can read all about the behaviour
in

http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/networking/moniker/reference/functions
/findmimefromdata.asp

where it seems clear to me that if the mime-type is correctly
image/svg+xml it won't determin it to be anything else, however if the
mime-type is incorrect it may.
