You forget another serious (for some people) limitation of XML-RPC:
the fact that it is not formally standardized. It stays a proprietary
protocol, which is a problem to base other protocols or applications
(and of course standards) on it.
What are your plans for REST-RPC? Standardization through IETF? W3C?
Oasis?
