Apache to OLE Server

Is it possible to connect an Apache server to an OLE server using XML-
RPC?  
I am running Apache 1.3 on my Win2000 machine and have a OLE server 
running on it as well.  I need to move client requests from Apache to 
the OLE server and then return with data.  Is this possible?  What 
technology is used in XML-RPC for this connection.
