That's what I thought. Will this be seen by whoever maintains
it, or is there someone I should point this out to.

That actually was there is the original, over-pruning to
produce the test version lost it. But thanks for the point.

Just in case anyone else sees this and wants to use it,
to replace <list style="numbers"> you actually need
<list style="format %d." counter="a">
(It took me some puzzling over the "a" significance,
even with son-of-RFC2629 to read, before working out
there wasn't one, anything will do.)
