Crash linux

hi,all

I use a Resin 2.1.12, sun jdk 1.4.2.03, and mysql 4.0 on a Gentoo Linux server. 
Resin crash my server sometime when I do a httpd.sh stop command.
I have tried ibm jdk 1.4.1, problem still there, but a little better.
Besides that, resin seems leak hundreds M memory to OS, and I can never get 
them back.

For years I have use linux+resin+mysql+ibm jdk, there are no such problems like 
this. Really have no idea about this :(
