Hello jfor enthusiasts,
Just a short note to let you know about two small things that might be
important for the project's future:
FOP INTEGRATION ROADMAP:
After several requests for more information from people wishing to help
on the jfor/FOP integration, I have written an explanations/roadmap page at
http://nagoya.apache.org/wiki/apachewiki.cgi?JforIntegrationInFop
which is the new Apache Wiki site.
I have had interesting contacts with people wishing to help on this
integration, but unfortunately no concrete contributions yet. Hopefully
this will help.
GIVING BACK:
We have added a new "giving back" section to the jfor homepage at
http://www.jfor.org. The wishlists thing is a much an experiment in
"Open-Source sociology" as a way for you to motivate the contributors to
continue investing time and energy in the project. And there are
several other ways to contribute, in small or big ways. Size of the
contributions does not matter much!
Thanks for reading, and happy Holidays!
