Subject: Re: Character encodings

Hi,

I'm new to eXist and I have to apologize if my statement is off-topic. But I
realized some encoding problems with polytonic greek unicode characters when
using the eXist client (does it use XMLRPC?!). Characters with accents are
not displayed correctly and I receive an Exception if I store my resources
with a greek unicode ID and then try to receive them via the client.
On the other hand, if I use a Java servlet and the XMLDB api, the greek
characters are displayed correctly in my web browser.

Maybe that could be a hint.
