I had the same problem as Damien regarding the _GNU_SOURCE definition on
Linux and tried your three options, they all worked fine for me.
I've also done some testing, in particular concerning the use of
extended notes. The new public/private distinction seems to work
correctly and will be really useful, thanks again for implementing this
so quickly. I did run into some problems when trying to delete notes
though (don't know if this is a new problem). I'll attach a commented
log of the actions so you can see for yourself and recreate the case.
That's the only problem I've come across so far, will let you know if I
find anything else.
