Is there a way to get your data into reasonably clean RIS?
Once you get into clean RIS or Endnote/Refer, you can then free
yourself from dependence on ISI. RefDB currently uses RIS as it's core
format, and will later be supporting MODS XML. Google for bibutils and
you'll find an excellent conversion tool that moves data between MODS,
RIS, Endnote, BibTeX, Pubmed. You could always ask its author -- Chris
Putnam -- if he could add ProCite. He's always adding new formats.
