I also have another problem.
If there are no authors or editors at all, I would like for the authors to
be
replaced by the title.
For instance, I need to cite the "Notes for Authors" which occurs as an
article in a journal, but is un-authored.
I would like to render this as
Notes for Authors in a citation and
similarly in the bibliography:
Notes for Authors. (2000) J. Irrep. Res. 20 567-575.
One hack might be to classify it as an obscure format such as
MPCT (Motion Pictures?) add "Notes for Authors" as an author,
as well as the title, but that still wouldn't apply a selective
italic style to the authorlist.
I would also like to think I was not abusing the technology
and not potentially messing my database for the future.
I think it would be useful if there was a way to specify
some kind of conditional fallback mechanism for replacing non-existant
elements in the CITESTYLE file. But I guess it would get complicated
with PRIMARY, SECONDARY and TERTIARY titles, because if the
title was used to replace the authorlist, you wouldn't want it repeated in
the title section.
Just some thoughts.
