Re: Problems with crop package?: msg#00180tex.xetex
Hi Stefano, On 21/10/2005, at 1:41 AM, Stefano Franchi wrote: I might explore that option, thanks for the hint. Although I must say the prospect of rerunning a 300-odd pages manuscript twice trhough LaTeX (or XeTeX plus LaTeX) to produce final output makes me cringe. The second run is just importing 300-odd images. It does not reprocess the LaTeX source of your document. There's only ~10 lines of LaTeX coding needed for this. You keep referring to the crop-mark option in Apple's Print manager, BTW, but I could not find any such thing. Unfortunately I do not have access to Acrobat Pro to try that one out. Acrobat has an "Advanced Printing Options" screen. It looks like this (in Acrobat 6.0): For other applications, you will need to devise an appropriate ColorSync filter to be included with your print job. This is done using the ColorSync Utility. Here's a screen shot that suggests what may be possible: You ought to be able to just use this PDFX-3 filter and have a TrimBox printed. I've not actually done this myself. Maybe others have done so. Cheers Ross
