How does one get hyphenation patterns for Spanish?

You may try to run again the configuration stage of the TeX i-Package in i-Installer, make sure you check the selection of hyphenation patterns as one of the steps, and then, when reaching this step, make sure the Spanish language is selected.

Probably you are on 10.2 (or the paper size choice would probably not have come up as well) and you tried the Simple install. Use Expert install, accept the default choices, except when language comes up. Make sure spanish is selected.
