You may try to run again the configuration stage of the TeX i-Package in 
i-Installer, make sure you check the selection of hyphenation patterns as one 
of the steps, and then, when reaching this step, make sure the Spanish language 
is selected.

Some use CocoAspell, others Excalibur.
