Re: Odd table behavior: msg#00354tex.macosx
Hello all: I have a landscaped table using "rotating" that works great in TeXShop, but when I compile a dvi in OzTex, the table is not only NOT rotated, but it is shifted way down on the page, and way to the right. Why is this? Obviously I have the output i need, but I want to understand the difference in these programs for my own satisfaction. Here's the code: % Table generated by Excel2LaTeX from sheet 'Sheet1' \begin{sidewaystable}[htdp] \begin{center} \begin{threeparttable} \caption{California Taxes As A Share of Family Income \tnote{\dag}} \begin{tabular}{| l |ccccccc |} \hline & &&&&&&\\ & \multicolumn{ 7}{| c |}{\textbf{Income Category}\tnote{\ddag}}\\ & &&&&&&\\ \hline & \textbf{Under \$27} & \textbf{ \$27-\$47} & \textbf{ \$47-\$67} & \textbf{\$67-\$97} & \textbf{\$97-\$186} & \textbf{\$186-\$434} & \textbf{Over \$434} \\ \hline %SNIP out the rest of the junk \hline \end{tabular} \begin{tablenotes} \item[\dag] \textsc{Source:}Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy, data for Married, Non-Elderly Households (1998) \item[\ddag] Income in \$1,000s \end{tablenotes} \label{tableone} \end{threeparttable} \end{center} \end{sidewaystable} Many thanks, Lisa --------------------- Info --------------------- Mac-TeX Website: http://www.esm.psu.edu/mac-tex/ & FAQ: http://latex.yauh.de/faq/ TeX FAQ: http://www.tex.ac.uk/faq List Post: <mailto:MacOSX-TeX-yNUTs0qEFpZ/1wmUHrjjoYdd74u8MsAO@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
