Thanks Jon for this example : http://www.nabble.com/%22Free%22-nodes-with-TikZ-on-beamer-slides--tf1590097.html#a4318958 But I'm surprised there is no other way to produce arrows going from a word (or whatever) to another, as if there is a change (say, you forgot a letter), you have to re-draw the grid, re-measure the exact position etc... and it seems to be something quite classical for a presentation! Isn't there a way to make latex remember the position of a point, even if the point is defined inside a tikzpicture and used outside it?
