Problem with math accents and T1 encoding: msg#00006tex.latex.beamer.general
Dear Beamers, I've just subscribed to the list, don't know if there is a solution for the following problem. In the spanish TeX list someone has found a problem with Beamer and math accents. Please try the following example: > \documentclass[10pt]{beamer} > \usepackage[T1]{fontenc} > \begin{document} > \begin{frame} > $\mathrm{\acute{o}}$ > \end{frame} > \end{document} as is and with the \usepackage line commented out, to see what the problem is. Our guru has traced the problem to the way Beamer assigns to math fonts the document encoding (T1) instead of OT1; he thinks that the problem is Beamer's. So, before filling out a bug report, I want to confirm this, and ask if this problem is already known, and perhaps there is a workaround. Hope the problem is clear and someone can help.
