Hi There.
Have been experiencing a rather "pain in the butt" issue with our polycom
VoiceStation 100 unit. Anytime when a call is placed to this unit (regardless
if its internal or external) the caller on the "far side" hears a lot of
"static"; however the static is not present on the polycom side.
Since the VoiceStation 100 is an analogue unit; we have a Sipura SPA-1001 that
ties in with our FreePBX environment.
We tried the echo suppression and network jitters settings on the sipura web
interface and phone.conf file.
We also made enbaled the silencesupression and set the echocancel to off.
Is there anything else I should take a look at? I've heard that codec's is
something we need to take a look at.
