I ma using CentOS.
I checked the error_log, which said as:
[Wed Apr 12 12:42:40 2006] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not
exist: /var/www/html/favicon.ico
[Wed Apr 12 12:42:40 2006] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] PHP warning:

No such file or directory in /var/www/html/admin/common/db_connect.php
on line 14, referer: http://localhost/[Wed Apr 12 12:42:40 2006] [error]

So install_amp ran without error?
Your environment seems a little unconventional. Your PHP include_path
does not include the usual path to DB.php on CentOS. i.e. /usr/share/pear
You should include that directory in your include_path in /etc/php.ini

I got into the admin page without problem, but it was showed as
empty
page, I viewed the source of the page, it contains nothing. Do you
know
why I got this?
Thanks.

What Linux distribution are you using?
Is there anything in the Apache error_log?
