I'm spec-ing some phones for a customer for use with an AMP setup.
They are a small office with 7 desks and ideally want a decent phone
with incoming caller name capability, and the ability to program up
some hotkeys so that it's easy to forward calls around. (I guess it's
not yet possible for any phone to show you which extensions are
engaged?). Attended call forwarding is also required (ie speak to the
far end first before transfering)
I'm eying up the Grandstream GXP and perhaps one of the SNOM phones
(but the Linksys *looks* nice). Does anyone have any comments on
which phone might suit my customers best? Reading the comments around
the web is a real mixed bag with people tending to be split between
both phones being excellent and some reporting real problems..
Cheers
