This is the correct behaviour. There _should_ be a symlink
from /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/device/8180
to /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default/8180. Can you please check
that this was created on your system? If it's missing, ether
re-submitting changes to the device, or re-logging onto the device with
a user should rectify it.
