Hi,
I have a question which is on the same kinda line... just not USB, PCI
is preferred.
I am based in the UK, and quite frankly I have messed around with
asterisk and ISDN so much I am starting to loose my hair, because I can
get it to work.
I found an old EICON Diva card on Saturday, but when I run the install
script it says Eicon Diva not found... I read somewhere it was something
to do with it not being the 'server' version of the card.
Does anyone have a definitive list of cards that are supported in
asterisk@home and known to work. I need support for 2x BRI lines,
supposedly on 2 separate PCI cards.
Thanks,
Alex

Subject: [Amportal-users] BRI ISDN on USB
Hi,
I would like to add a BRI ISDN line to my AMP box but I can't use a PCI
card because there are no PCI slots.
I have seen that some USB ISDN modems works with CAPI drivers and maybe
with Asterisk.
Does someone have already connected a BRI ISDN line to Asterisk using a
USB adapter and what models can I use (French ISDN compatible)?
Regards,
Amaury

Re: BRI ISDN on USB
hi alex,
you can use hfc cards (http://isdn.jolly.de/cards.html, price ~ 25 €),
but you will need to recompile asterisk and some other stuff.
we build a debian sarge installation cd with support for that cards,
contact me if you like to try it.
