Re: AMP(Asterisk) install problem on FC3--unable to connect to remote asterisk server

   Thanks. I disabled SElinux, reinstalled and it works now.

    However, when I ran "asterisk -vvv".I got the error message

"[app_rxfax.so]Sep 24 23:47:41 WARNING[4611]: loader.c:258 ast_load_resource: libspandsp.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Sep 24 23:47:41 WARNING[4611]: loader.c:440 load_modules: Loading module app_rxfax.so failed!
Ouch ... error while writing audio data: : Broken pipe"

  But I did download the necessary  files from www.soft-switch.org/downloads/spandsp/spandsp-0.0.2/spandsp_0.0.2pre20.tar.gz and app_rxfax.c,app_txfax.c from /asterisk-1.0.x/subdirectory and compiled. The file "libspandsp.so.0" could be found in /usr/lib/ directory.

 

    The system is now running without fax support.
