Problem with analog lines not hanging up: msg#00218telephony.pbx.asterisk.amportal.user
Hello, I have an issue with my Asterisk box not hanging up channels after a call is completed. We have had several times where a call comes in on one analog port, gets forwarded back out through the second analog port, and then when it doesn't hang up correctly, both analog ports are showing as up, but there is no traffic. Reloading asterisk causes our SIP phones to ring constantly, because the channels look like they are up, but when we answer all we get is a fast busy signal. The only way to clear the condition is to reboot the asterisk box. The * box has three FXO single port adapter cards in it. two going to the phone company and the third going to a Packet8 phone. We don't seem to have as many problems with the Packet8 phone. I am not sure of the brand on the cards, just that they are not Digium. I am hoping that there is a setting in the zapata or asterisk configuration that can be adjusted to make sure that the channels are hanging up correctly. Any ideas?
