Wow thanks I had just started doing something like this myself... When
I get home this evening I will give it a try and see how you did!

Now if we can just get you and the asterisk Debian package maintainer
together we could have a nice */AMP package for the whole community to
use.

(of course we would have to figure out how to get around the mpg123
problem).
