Problems installing amp

I'm trying to install AMP 1.10.009beta1 on Debian Sarge. After solving
several other problems I stuck at the point, where I have to set up MySQL
for CDR and AMP web interface.

I get these errors:

app_addon_sql_mysql.c:31:19: mysql.h: No such file or directory
cdr_addon_mysql.c:33:19: mysql.h: No such file or directory
cdr_addon_mysql.c:34:20: errmsg.h: No such file or directory

Can someone give me a hint?
