Ben,
You gave me an idea. We should put together a collaborative "Phone
User Manual" describing processes like Call Parking and Forwarding using
the generic commands ( #70 instead of TRNF 70 etc ). This can be used
and customised by AMP adminstrators to their setup and distributed to
their users.
I have started it on the wiki linked to from the AMP website. -

parking to work with amp?
Works fine for me. Here's a cut and pasted doc that I have given my
users. Note that we use Polycom phones, so the buttons that you press
may be named differently.
--------------
Call Parking
Sometimes you may have a call to transfer, but the person who you are
transferring to is on the phone or away from their desk, and you don’t
want to have the call to go to voicemail. You can “park” the call, which
will allow the person to pick up the call once they’re off the phone,
come back to their desk, or pick it up from another phone.
How to do it:
1. Press the “More” button.
2. Press the “Trnsfr” button.
3. Dial 70 and then press the “Send” button.
4. The system will tell you a number. This is the park extension. You’ll
need this to retrieve the call.
5. After you hear the number, press the “Trnsfr” button.
6. You can now hang up.
While the person is parked, they will hear hold music. The max time a
caller can be parked is 5 minutes. After 5 minutes of waiting, the call
will return to your phone.
How to retrieve a parked call:
1. From any phone, dial the park extension that was given when the call
was parked.
2. Press the “send” button.
3. You should now have your caller on the phone.
