Ok I re-read the windows build instructions and discovered that, oh
yeah, you have to build PWLIB first.

I guess from the pwlib build instructions that Console is the first
part of pwlib to build? It won't build. It appears that
devstudio is running configure.exe as part of the build process and that
configure is unable to find something it needs.

I am attempting to debug configure, but if someone knows how to set
this up, I would appreciate some help.

Thanks.

configure reads configure.ac in the pwlib directory.
this sorts out machine-specific code options, and searches your machine for optional components (ldap, xml, etc)
you shouldn't need to edit it.
the output of the configure process is ptbuildopts.h

did you do the flex/bison install bit ?

to see the configure command line:
1/ open pwlib.dsp, select console as active project
2/ in file view, console files / header files ,select ptbuildopts.h.in
3/ right-click, select settings, custom tab - the buildopts are in the commands textbox

to just do the configure bit :
1/ + 2/ + right-click / compile

i got oh323 & my own app building fine with openh323, basically following the instructions, on my win2k box.

i can build opal, simpleopal, openphone etc, but i'm chasing a (regular) crash in openphone built/run on winxp/sp2.
