autogen=1 (fam build error)

Hi,

filesystem/fam failed during a fresh new rebuild, because automake complains 
about missing files.

fam.conf sets autogen=1. As fam does not provide an autogen.sh file, the 
corresponding script code in functions.in is executed. 

So the question is, should the code in functions.in include '--add-missing' 
for the automake call?, or should we patch fam to have an autogen.sh file 
which does this?
