Now i'm using the 7.0 and I was trying to compile apache on it. After all
dependencies the build failed with a curl 404, dued to non existant
http://www.apache.org/dist/httpd/httpd-2.2.9.tar.gz file.

I tried to change the version from 2.2.8 to 2.2.9 but obliviuosly the patches
did not apply correctly, so the build failed again.

Finally putting the http://archive.apache.org/dist/httpd in apache.desc file
let things work perfectly, that's why i wrote to you: I think is better to
replace the url with the archive one because the www one lacks older
versions.

Thanks for the quick response!
