Though I was a KDE user in the past, the KDE 4.0 release quality
made me switch back to blackbox + firefox due to the amazing KDE-4.x
release quality, ...

Guess it's time to give KDE-4.1 a spin on my laptop :-) Maybe I can
then comment on it :-)
