This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
Great :) your a star. I shall try building trunk again tonight.

This error log came from the actual system I want to install trunk onto. I was
getting various other errors when building in a virtual machine (VMWare
Workstation for Windows), but it looks like I'll have to build directly on the
box. I would of preferred to build in a VM as I can suspend the build process
when I'm travelling about on my laptop.

Keep up the great work.

Adam

This:

x86_64-t2-linux-gnu-gcc -fsigned-char -g -O2 -o umount umount-umount.o
umount-fstab.o umount-mount_mntent.o umount-getusername.o umount-lomount.o
umount-sundries.o
umount-xmalloc.o umount-realpath.o umount-fsprobe.o umount-fsprobe_blkid.o
umount-env.o umount-linux_version.o umount-blkdev.o -lblkid
/home/t2-trunk/build/default-8.0-trunk-generic-x86-64-core2/lib/../lib64/libblkid.a(probe.o):
In function `set_uuid':
probe.c:(.text+0x49c): undefined reference to `uuid_is_null'
probe.c:(.text+0x4ab): undefined reference to `uuid_unparse'

is not a defect in your installed host system, just a "known
regression / new build error" of trunk (probably slipped in
during one of the last updates).

This was on my TODO list for some days, now and is fixed
with revision r29717.

Yours sincerely,

René
