Hi,

no, sorry. Right now the T2 build system requires root privileges
for sane permission and user:group handling.

However, adding "fakeroot" or a-like support is on our TODO list:

However, as containers (vserver, openvz, ...) and other whole-
system virtualization (Qemu, Xen, Virtualbox, (VMWare)) have
solved this elegantly for most of us I fear it doesnot have such
an high priority for most of us.
