Thanks Miquel! It apparently works this way. Perl builds o.k.,
thanks to bash. However, now I am stopped by another problem:
package base/sysfiles doesn't build.

Building stops at:

== 14:17:25 =[3]=> Building base/sysfiles [0000 6.0-stable].
-> Parallel build using 2 jobs enabled.
-> Compiler Cache enabled: 0.00% cache hits so far.

-> $root/var/adm/logs/3-sysfiles.out -> 3-sysfiles.err

-> Unmounting loop mounts ...

The log file is at http://www.fabrikaplus.com/temp/3-sysfiles.err.bz2.

The problem appears to be with some groups the scripts are trying to
create. I'm not sure whether this is a problem of my system
configuration or something else. I'm on Ubuntu 7.04 (x86_64), target is
General. I'm digging inside the src.sysfiles* in the meanwhile, though a
little lost here.

Any idea?
