Building stops at perl

Hello

I'm trying to build T2-6.0 on Ubuntu 7.04 (x86_64). It doesn't build
regardles of the target I choose, packages, etc. My recent try (Generic
System target, without touching any options, except architecture) ends
with the following note:

The log files found in src.perl* directory are attached. It appears to
be Ubuntu configuration related problem, however I get the same problem
with prebuilt T2 6.0.1 environment. Any idea how to solve it? Thanks.
