Minit is a full blown, "innovative" init that even does service starting
via dependencies and respawning. It is totally different but still small.

If you do not have special requirements you can also just use the
busybox init. If you change the package selection the embedded
targets to not behave perfectly, as they contain a little hardcoding
for minit and other stuff.

Best is to start a own target with "just what you need".

You can, however, already use your binaries that result in
build/.../, they are already the cross build files that you can
copy to your target.

Note: We did not yet include board selection in AVR32 yet, so the
kernel and initrd are built for the STK1000, but you could leave
the Atmel pre-built kernel on the board for now. We need to
update u-boot and the AVR32 kernel patches to include the NGW100
bits and add a board selection to the Config.

This however does not affect the user-space binaries. They just
run on the NGW100 so you could start drafting your user-space
and programs right now and test them to run on your board.

Patches welcome.

Yours,
