The RTAI target was just merged to trunk, and also (as far as I have seen)
changed to buidl with glibc (due to nearbyint() missing in uclibc).

However, your build problem is unrelated. We saw this error already in IRC
and it appears to happen on foreign (non-T2 systems) with different, or
patched, tar versions. The uclibc packages uses tar to copy the header filse
and with some versions this relates into usr/include beeing re-created or
so. We have to change the uclibc packages to install the headers by just
copying the individual files over (instead this strange detour via tar).

I have this on my TODO, maybe I can work on this later in the evening.

For a fully working RTAI target you have to use glibc, right now at least -
until uclibc get's nearbyint() - so you can also just svn up; and rebuild.
Or you fix the uclibc header installation and implement nearbyint() in
uclibc, whatever you prefer :-)
