Use T2 through proxy

I need to set up my client to retrieve source files and svn updates via a proxy.
The proxy is strictly HTTP/HTTPS with no SVN protocol.

Do I need to set userid/passwords/proxy path as environment variable or do I need to edit some script somewhere?

Any suggestions would be helpfull
