Yeah, this check exists in this form or another since the early roots
of the build system. And should actually be present in revision 1 of the
T2 SVN tree. That was a time of privately held systems with just
around 128MB RAM, if at all :-) Even today building boost, ace, pixie
or Open Office can bring system with over 1 GB or RAM to the knees.

I agree that checking the available virtual memory to be at least 512
MB or so would make more sense, today.

Maybe you want to tweak the Check-System script?
