Polishing trunk/target/desktop for 7.0 release this summer

Hi all,

I started to get the trunk/target/desktop into shape for the upcomming
7.0 release this summer. The trunk/target/desktop will ship exclusively
as livecd in the future and will be optimized for this to provide a slick
and streamlined usability experience for all kind of uses.

We plan to keep the ISO sized to fit on CDs, so people do not need
to download too much and the system still works on older machines
that came without a DVD drive.

Due thhis, some big packages thare are used seldomly were
removed from the target, including: tetex, mono*, boost*, e17.

(Of course "power-users" can Emerge them after installation
just as normal.)

Please note that the resulting 7.0.0/deskop binary release will
become a gold master, beeing pressed and included in the hardcover
version of the T2 Handbook, so as much testing and feedback as
possible is very much welcome.

Comments on packages, features and optimizations are very much
welcome, as we have over a month left for polishing the target ...
